Program Facilitators - Spring 2026
Adventureworks! is hiring Program Facilitators to deliver adventure programs to school, youth, and community clients. Facilitators work at our Retreat and Learning Centre at Canterbury Hills in Ancaster, ON as well as at partner sites in the GTHA, and offer programming at schools. Most of our programs use High Ropes and Low Ropes courses to provide challenge and promote participant learning. Program Facilitators will work as members of the program team to meet client needs and make a lasting impact for participants.
Primary Responsibilities
Facilitate team building, leadership, and community development programs for schools and youth organizations.
Manage risk and provide effective leadership in a variety of outdoor and adventure activities such as low and high ropes, rock climbing, group initiative tasks, evening program, and outdoor living skills.
Assist with hosting and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Program Delivery 90%, Program Coordinating 5%, Hospitality 5%
Deliver programs at a variety of locations in Ontario, including Hamilton and Halton region schools, The Retreat and Learning Centre at Canterbury Hills (Ancaster), Norval Outdoor School (Georgetown), Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area (Milton), and others.
Experience / Qualifications
University degrees or college diplomas in outdoor recreation or a related field are considered an asset.
Standard First Aid and CPR required.
Level 1 CCP / ARCI (required), or Level 2 CCP / RCI (preferred)
Current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector search (must be obtained prior to employment).
Transportation to our Ancaster location.

Spring 2026 contracts available for applicants with appropriate experience and qualifications
Please be mindful that programs take place during the weekdays, evenings, and on weekends. Some programs may require you to stay overnight on the site of the program.
Hours & Pay
Seasonal position for the Spring season. Up to 40 hours per week available. Occasional positions are also available.
Weekday, Weekend, Evening, & Overnight work may be required
Compensation starting at $22.60 per hour.
Training is provided. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a Challenge Course Practitioner - Level 1 or 2 training and certification or re-certification.
Locations & Travel
Facilitators must have reliable transportation to the main office location in Ancaster, ON.
Programs may take place at other locations throughout southern Ontario
Challenge Course Services Assistant - Spring 2026
Adventureworks! is hiring a Seasonal CCS Assistant to support the delivery of Challenge Course Services to clients across Canada. This role works closely with Full-Time staff to deliver training, installation, and inspection services, and plays a key role in preparing tools, materials, and resources that ensure high-quality client experiences. This is a physically demanding, travel-heavy position ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, outdoor environments, and being part of a collaborative service team.
Primary Responsibilities
Help clients meet their needs by assisting full-time staff in the delivery of Challenge Course Services.
Assist in the delivery of challenge course training services to clients at a variety of locations across Canada.
Assist in the Installation of Challenge Courses.
Participate in the delivery of inspection services to clients across Canada.
Support the CCS team with packing and preparing tools, materials, manuals, and retail orders.
Experience / Qualifications
University degrees or college diplomas in outdoor recreation or a related field are considered an asset.

Locations & Travel
This position will require a large amount of travel across the country, up to 75% in peak seasons.
This position will require the incumbent to spend a lot of time outdoors, in all types of weather.
The incumbent must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs of equipment and materials as needed. The incumbent must also be a strong climber and physically fit enough to keep up with the demands of the job.
