In 1988 we started the Adventure Learning Centre at Canterbury Hills, one of the first outdoor education programs to utilize challenge/ropes courses in Canada. Since that time we have worked with thousands of students and provided professional development to hundreds of teachers in the surrounding school boards. Our school programs are delivered by our professional team of fully certified challenge course instructors and meet or exceed ACCT standards and OPHEA guidelines.
Achieving your curriculum objectives
Our approach is to work with your school’s teaching staff to custom design a program that achieves your specific outcomes and curriculum goals. We create an engaging adventure learning program that provides your students with opportunities to experience challenge and mastery in an environment that offers meaningful involvement, clear feedback and structured reflection. Your program can be offered at Canterbury Hills, Ancaster or Crieff Hills, Puslinch. Rock Climbing programs are offered at Rattlesnake Point, Milton. We can also travel to your school, local park or other location to deliver your custom designed program.
