Challenge Course and Climbing Program Management
This 30 hour training course is designed for experienced ropes course, climbing wall, rock climbing, and rappelling program instructors or anyone who has management responsibilities for these activities. With a focus on the safe and effective management of adventure based programs, participants will develop an increased understanding of how standards, current research, testing, emergency preparedness, staff training and supervision, and program assessment can be applied to their organization’s delivery of adventure programs.
Individuals who meet ACCT requirements may complete testing for certification as a Challenge Course Manager. Certification testing is scheduled for the day immediately following the completion of the course.
