Low Ropes Course
Facilitator (Level 1)
This 20 hour course introduces participants to games, initiatives, trust
exercises, and leadership skills that enable them to facilitate low ropes
course experiences. Emphasis is placed on
sequencing, spotting, and safe activity operations. This course provides opportunities for participants to learn and practice
activity design, leadership, facilitation and debriefing skills.
Participants develop their own facilitation skills through a full day of
peer leadership followed by reflection and feedback. Successful
completion of course and testing leads to certification as a Level One
Challenge Course Practitioner (Spotted Activities Only).
Low Ropes Facilitator (Level 2)
Individuals in the 24 hour course will enhance their ability to create
innovative programs using low ropes course activities. Candidates
will develop advanced leadership and facilitation strategies, home
program design skills, and explore risk management issues.
Successful completion of this course and testing leads to certification
as Level Two Challenge Course Practitioner (Spotted Activities
Only). |
